About our Guest Speakers
Sonja Hodis - Sonja is a condominium mediator and arbitrator that works with condominium corporations across Canada to resolve disputes in a timely and efficient manner. Sonja brings 20 + years experience as a condo lawyer and 15+ years experience as a Tribunal adjudicator having written over 400 published decisions. Sonja is a frequent speaker and writer on condominium issues for various organizations and publications such as Condo Business, CCI, ACMO, and CAI. She is a past director on the CCI National Board of Directors, past chair of the CCI National Events Committee and past President of CCI Huronia. She currently sits as a director on the CCI Huronia Board of Directors and is the co-chair of Events and Education. Sonja’s contribution to the condominium industry has been recognized by the awarding of CCI’s Distinguished Service Award.
Daniel Katzman - lawyer with Scharfstein LLP. and was called to the Bar in 2019. He maintains an open practice, focusing on Condominium Law and associated topics. He has been on the Board for CCI North Saskatchewan since 2021 and joined the Education Committee in 2022. He has presented for CCI North and CCI South Saskatchewan, as well as writing many articles for both CCI Saskatchewan and CCI National.
Taylor Wilcox was called to the bar in 2021 and is an associate lawyer in the McKercher LLP Saskatoon office with a general practice in civil litigation, construction law, condominium law and foreclosure matters. He is a member of the CCI North Saskatchewan Chapter.
